Woven Legends started their renaissance of traditionally woven rugs in 1982 in Eastern Turkey after the industrial revolution almost removed the art of hand woven rug weaving.? Woven Legends pride themselves in recreating the past by hand spinning wool, using traditional organic dyes and weaving rugs by hand.? Their designs are all inspired by traditional Persian and European rugs and they use colour palettes that are suitable for today?s interiors.? As well as being conservationists of an art that was almost made extinct they have created employment for many residence of Turkey.? Woven Legends are creators of tomorrow?s antiques.
